Get Slimed! Little Ones Event

Events looks a little different during Covid-19. We are meeting on zoom instead of in person. The library has curbside pick up, and we are open to the public currently so participants can pick up their  supplies for a craft.

We made slime using this recipe from One Little Project. I also added a little bit of Kool-aid to change the color and smell. This recipe is all completely edible so it’s safe for the littles.

Cookies! Little Ones Event

We made my favorite Butterscotch Fritos recipe. Melt the entire bag of butterscotch chips in a saucepan. Once they’re melted, toss in the entire bag of Fritos. Stir with a wooden spoon until the Fritos are coated. Lay out to cool on parchment paper, and then enjoy.

While those cooled, we made these no bake peanut butter balls (using soy peanut butter) like this post from Picky Eater Blog.

The kids enjoyed eating while they “baked.”

They also showed me other food they made.
