Andrea Cleland (MLIS, RYT-600, RCYT-95) grew up in the suburbs of Detroit, MI, and moved to the Fort Collins, Colorado area in 2011. She has studied and holds degrees in literature, veterinary technology, library science, and early literacy education and is earning a second Master’s degree in Early Childhood and Inclusive Education from Portland State University. As a children’s librarian, Andrea originally studied yoga to add elements of her personal practice to her storytimes at the library. However, as her practice deepened, she decided to share her passion for yoga with all ages. Andrea graduated from the Shambhava School of Yoga in 2014 and Kids Yoga Guide in 2016, and she can’t wait to bring a light-heartened and child-like approach to her teaching. She earned her RYT-500 in 2019. In her free time, Andrea is up for anything and enjoys activities from aerial dance (lyra, sling, loop straps) to snowshoeing to skydiving to  paddleboarding. She teaches chair dance at Vertical Fusion in Fort Collins.
