Three times a year I hold a preschool book club (ages 3-5). These book clubs meet once a week for 4 weeks, and there is a new book each time. With a generous grant from the Colorado State Library, each family who participates receives a copy of the book we read each week. I cap the number of participants at 15 families (but 10 families is usually what it ends up at, and that is a much more manageable number). We read the story and then engage in activities surrounding the theme of the book.
